MediSend International's 1st Humanitarian Award
Mrs. Mary Jo Myers, wife of General Richard B. Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, receives MediSend International's 1st Humanitarian Award at MediSend International's 1st Annual Ambassadors of Hope Luncheon, a fundraiser held in Dallas, Texas. Chairperson of the event was Mrs. Erin Botsford. More than $70,000 was raised to send Containers of Hope to Afghanistan in Mrs. Myers' honor.
Note: Mrs. Myers is the woman with the special eagle award in her hands, also solos at the podium.
